Built from a tough moment
Ice Age Commercial started the way a lot of good things do — with a closed door and the decision to build something better on the other side of it. After our founder lost a job in home appliance repair, a fellow technician offered simple advice: move into the commercial side, where restaurants and cafés depend on their equipment every single day. So in June 2024, we opened with one mission — help small businesses keep their kitchens running, honestly and without the runaround.
Honest repair, not a sales pitch
Plenty of companies say they're honest. We'd rather show you. When a grocery store came to us with a $12,000 quote from another company to fix a commercial oven, we took a real look and got it done for around $5,000 — diagnosing step by step instead of swapping out everything and hoping. That's the whole idea behind how we work: if we can't fix it, you don't pay for it, and if a unit truly isn't worth saving, we'll be the first to tell you to replace it. We'd rather earn your trust today than oversell you and lose it tomorrow.
The people behind the wrench
Our real edge is our people. Our technicians come from serious engineering backgrounds — decades of hands-on experience between them — and we sometimes joke that they're "appliance doctors." They can walk up to a unit, listen, and know what's wrong before they've pulled out a single tool.
